Gascogne Beige Limestone is quarried from a seam where iron oxide has added some beige pigmentation. The tiles are supplied with a smooth matt (honed) finish and is suitable for use in all areas of the home, both floors and walls. This limestone is hard and therefore also of low porosity. There is a high concentration of shells and fossils making the limestone attractive to customers looking for consistency in colour, whilst retaining a good level of character. When tiled with a tight grout joint a floor can appear almost seamless. The limestone can also be used very effectively on walls.
